ORGIE
(Organization of Escenic Investigation), Entrenar la Fiesta, film/performance, 2018 – 2022
How to generate vulnerable spaces and still feel contained by them? Entrenar la fiesta is a practice-party of social experimentation, of 4 hours each session. It is scheduled sporadically and is open to the public. The practice consists of a collective training that proposes contact and group dance, a free floor that is sensitive to general movement, an after-dance stretch, and finally, a conversation about the shared experience. Entrenar la fiesta is conceived as a space where people take care of each other with a transfeminist protocol that is activated in any case of discomfort of any of those involved.
somatic exercise
Breathing – Erotic breathing exercise.
Take deep breaths into your chest allowing your chest to relax, expand and decompress. Notice the sensations in your chest and be aware of whatever is happening in your body without trying to change anything.
Then, take slow deep breaths into your stomach, allowing the breath to move deeper into the body. Take breaths as far down as you can and feel the pressure from your breath connect to your pelvic floor. Bring your awareness to your cock or pussy and notice the sensations in your pelvic floor.
Now, squeeze the muscles in your pelvic floor on the inhale, like you are stopping yourself from peeing. Then release on the exhale. You can do this as many times as you like. There is no right or wrong. Just notice how you feel.
Homework – Body movement, feeling into the body & self-love.
Find some time alone or with a partner(s). Create a relaxed vibe in your space. You can play your favourite music. Light candles. Spray aromas or light incense. Wear something that makes you feel sexy, or something comfortable or nothing at all.
Start by walking around, really slow, as slow as you can. Try keeping your knees bent, as it creates more connection to the ground and the lower part of your body. Feel every part of your foot as it touches the floor, slowly speed up and slow down and notice the difference in your body. Try connecting your breath to the movement of your body. Now give yourself the freedom to move and flow in whatever way your body wants to move. Be playful and have fun, smile and laugh.
Notice what you feel and start exploring touch. This touch is to find out more about what you like and what you don’t. You can start with a light touch all over your body and feel the sensations on your body and at your fingertips. From here, you can use all different types of touch. It’s entirely up to you. I can suggest touching harder, faster, or slower. You can grab, slap, poke and tickle. If something feels good, stay with it for a while. Notice what feels good about it and why you enjoy it. It is also essential to know more about what we don’t like, so be sure to explore that too. What is essential is that there is no right or wrong. Be playful, have fun and enjoy your beautiful body.
