Bert’s bookcase is full of tasty material! Bert Sliggers was curator of Teylers Museum for a large part of his working life, where he was responsible for a number of high-profile exhibitions. As guest curator he is associated with Huis van het Boek, for which he put together the exhibition Porno op Papier, among others. Bert donated 1500 Dutch-language pornographic and erotic books from the period 1880-1980 to the Koninklijke Bibliotheek. He publishes regularly on the history of the publishing of porn and erotica. He also researches the history of erotic pulp in Europe. During the Happy Ending Festival he will show the highlights of his tasty collection.
